Luanda: Lucapa Diamond Company reports the
recovery of yet another large, high-quality diamond from its Lulo diamond
project in Angola.
Bangalore: The C. Krishniah Chetty Group of
Jewellers and award winning Indo-Canadian diamond artist and jewellery designer
Reena Ahluwalia came together to exhibit rare, limited edition diamond
paintings as part of the Founder’s day celebrations of The C. Krishniah Chetty
Group in Bangalore, India. This is the first time artist Reena Ahluwalia is
exhibiting her diamond paintings in India. The exhibition is a celebration of
diamonds, their stories and what they mean to people who covet them.
Antwerp: Roberto Coin, one of the world's

at the premiere edition of CARAT+ in Antwerp, May 7 to 9, 2017. With more than

feature at international red carpet events for the film and music industries.
Mumbai: India’s gold jewellery exports
dropped significantly by more than 24% year-on-year to $397.71 million (Rs.
2,707.58 Crore) in January 2017. Also, the country’s silver jewellery exports
recorded marginal drop of nearly 4% to $ 253.60 million (Rs. 1,726.49 Crore).
This is in accordance with the latest official monthly data released by the
country’s Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

Hong Kong: Jewellery design talents worldwide are invited to join the inaugural Xifu International Gold Wedding Jewellery Design Competition, which offers a 1kg gold bar as grand prize. Organised by JNA & CJNA of UBM Asia, the World Gold Council and the People’s Government of Yantian District, Shenzhen, the competition opens for entries on 1 March 2017.
Hong Kong: The annual JNA Awards celebrates
its sixth year with a stellar panel of judges consisting of five distinguished
experts from the jewellery and gemstone industry.
Ramat Gan: The Israeli Diamond Industry is
again preparing a major presence at HKTDC’s Hong Kong International Diamond,
Gem & Pearl Show this March. The Israel Diamond Pavilion, organized by the Israel
Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), will host 83 companies. There will
also be 10 Israeli companies exhibiting in other locations throughout the show.
Among the Israeli exhibitors there will be four companies that are
participating in this show for the first time.
