Girls
need support, not permission
On
the occasion of Women’s Day, a social media study ‘Understanding Brides To Be,’
conducted by the leading online matchmaking brand BharatMatrimony, attempted to
understand what girls want the would-be grooms to know about them, when it
comes to marriage.
The
study witnessed over 890 responses. BharatMatrimony posed 10 questions to girls
including “What does a soon-to-be bride mean when she says she wants respect,
more than attention?”, “Why girls would like to have kids a few years after
marriage” and “Why post marriage, girls need support, not permission.”

Diamonds announces the recovery of a 152 carat, top white colour Type IIa
diamond from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho, the highest dollar per carat
kimberlite diamond mine in the world. This is the sixth diamond of over 100
carats recovered in 2018.

Alrosa
Group, the world leader in diamond production, announces diamond sales results
for February and two months of 2018. In February, Alrosa Group sold USD 541.9
million worth of rough and polished diamonds. Rough diamond sales by value
amounted to USD 532.8 million, polished diamond sales – USD 9.1 million.

NITI
Aayog, the premier think tank of the country will launch its Women

The
Government of India has entered into Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements
(DTAAs), Tax Information Exchange Agreements (TIEAs) and Multilateral
Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters (MAC) with over
130 countries including tax havens.
These
agreements allow exchange of information between countries for tax purposes
including information pertaining to money laundering and funding. On request
made by Government of India under the above agreements, these countries provide
relevant information including information pertaining to money laundering and
funding.
De Beers Group today announced the value
of rough diamond sales (Global Sightholder Sales and Auction Sales) for the
second sales cycle of 2018.
Bruce
Cleaver, CEO, De Beers Group, said: “The second sales cycle of the year saw the
continuation of good rough diamond demand. This was in line with expectations,
following strong retail sales of diamond jewellery during the US holiday season
and positive early signs for consumer demand over Chinese New Year.”
Dunnedin Ventures has identified a cluster of new,
potentially diamond-bearing kimberlite targets in the south-central portion of
its 100% owned Kahuna Diamond Property, Nunavut. The Company also reports that
it is on schedule to begin its upcoming drill program in March 2018, which is
expected to run through late winter into May.
The drill program will test 10 to 15 kimberlite
targets and will focus on circular geophysical pipe-like responses supported by
high quality Diamond Indicator Minerals in till immediately down-ice.

Kahuna Property by using unique mineral screening protocols and classification employed
