Italian Gold & Jewellery Trade Show Merger Approved

Vicenza: A merger announced in January between the Italian Exhibition Group Spa (IEG) and Arezzo Fiere e Congressi has been approved, thus creating a single representative trade show platform for the entire sector Italian gold and jewellery industry. IEG was created by the merger of Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza.

The agreement was signed by Lorenzo Cagnoni, President and CEO of IEG, and Andrea Boldi, President of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, in the presence of the Managing Director and the Deputy Managing Director of IEG, Corrado Facco and Carlo Costa, and of a member of the Arezzo Fiere e Congressi board, Alessia Gualdagni.

As a result, IEG Expo, in addition to organizing the three editions of VICENZAORO (the January and September events in Vicenza and the November show in Dubai), will also be the administrative organizer of OROAREZZO and Gold Italy starting from the coming editions in May and October 2017 in Arezzo.

Overall, the five shows will host about 5,000 exhibitors from all the Italian gold areas and over 30 countries and more than 80,000 visitors, 50 percent of whom come from 130 different nations.

In addition to these shows, the VICENZAORO brand will take part in the jewelry industry's top international trade shows: the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, the India International Jewellery Show in Mumbai and JCK in Las Vegas, where IEG has already been managing the official Italian hall for the past 11 years.
