GJNRF shoulders CSR amid Covid-19
Gem & Jewellery National Relief Foundation (GJNRF) is performing its’ CSR activities even in the lockdown of pandemic Covid-19 silently! According to the sources, 1: 26000masks (including N95 wherever required), 2:
20000 PPE gowns, 3: 200 PPE kits, 4: 20000 goggles, 5: 20000 gloves, 6: 12000litters of sanitisers, 7: 960 Covid-19 testing kits, 8: 50 Infra digital Thermometers, 9: 50 Oxymeters to various Hospitals and Zonal Police stations is being donated so far!
Upon arrival of lockdown immediately GJNRF bothered for diamond artisans & Ratnakalakars! GJNRF provided food grain kits time to time to about 22000 artisans of Dahisar, Palanpur, Visnagar, Botad, Surendranagar and Surat since April. Managed to totalled up 110, 000 so far.
For the migrants surrounded around from Bandra, Kurla, Vasai, Bhayandar and even at Surat station, GJNRF distributed food packets and meals are totalling to 150, 000 so far.
Much known for shouldering CSR, GJNRF has accomplished several activities & mile stones in serving the people in general at natural calamities & disasters since 1999. Persistently performing CSRs, the GJNRF has spent about Rs56Crores for the betterment and welfare of the people in general!
Apart from the above support during the Covid-19, the CSR of GJNRF is also extended and worked with Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). In the coordination with BMC, GJNRF installed 8 Dialysis machines, supported to restructure BMC run hospital! Even at the Covid-19 GJNRF has also offered to BMC & Government of Maharashtra to create temporary structures for the Covid-19 patients!
GJNRF is the extended CSR arm of gem-n-jewellery industry & trade and is shouldering CSR activities with the funds contributed by gem-n-jewelelry fraternity. Even today GJNRF is appealing the fraternity to contribute amid the ongoing Covid-19!
