Moscow: Jewellery Group Smolensk Diamonds has won two awards at a prestigious international jewellery exhibition JUNWEХ PETERSBURG 2017 which took place from February 1 to 5 in St. Petersburg.
Director General of the Smolensk Diamonds Dmitry Kuntsev commented: "We have received several awards at the exhibition. We were rewarded for the ring Aphrodite with a 11-carat diamond and for a necklace from the new collection The Harvest with a 5-carat fancy bright yellow diamond, yellow sapphires and fancy-shaped diamonds."
According to him, all the diamonds have been manufactured by the Kristall Smolensk and the collection made a good impression on the audience.
"Now the collection's design is being completed and first pilot samples demonstrated at the exhibition received positive feedback from potential buyers. We'll finalize and launch the collection for sale in near future."
The JUNWEХ jewellery exhibition is traditionally attended by top jewellery companies from Russia and abroad. More than 650 exhibitors show their best jewellery of different categories.
Earlier, a replica of the Great Imperial Crown, another famous item by Smolensk Diamonds, has received many awards at JUNWEХ. At the moment, it is exhibited at the International Diamond Week in Israel.
