Lulo 2019 sales reached to US$35.1mn so far!

Lucapa Diamond Company Limited and its partners Empresa Nacional de Diamantes E.P. (Endiama) and Rosas & Petalas announces the results from the latest sale of diamonds from the Lulo alluvial mine in Angola. Further announced of previous sales, another run of mine parcel of 1,736 carats of Lulo diamonds has sold for gross proceeds of US$2.6 million (A$3.9 million), representing an average price per carat of US$1,530 (A$2,265).

 

This took total 2019 sales of Lulo diamonds to date to US$35.1 million (A$50.2 million) at an average price per carat of US$2,090 (A$2,991). The latest sale is in line with Lucapa’s strategy to expand production and grow revenue generation at Lulo.


A 46 carat Lulo pink diamond has, as previously advised, been exported by SML to Antwerp and is undergoing studies for polishing. A decision on the optimal polished solutions will be taken by the Lulo partners once the studies are concluded.
