Buying sentiment is decent this festive!

The general buying sentiment has been decent this festive season, Inspite of the rising gold prices, which is a very positive sign. It is also the onset of the wedding season, so there is a good demand for small & big ticket items. Here is the outlook for the season ahead & how two leading jewellers are viewing the imminent Dhanteras!

“We, at Anmol, have always believed in adapting ourselves & evolving with changing times, which is why our brand has always been at the forefront of innovation in Design. We have taken a non-traditionalist approach in our marketing strategies through celebrity & stylist associations and innovative campaigns with bloggers to showcase our design prowess & target the millennial consumers, especially the millennial brides. We also managed to establish a strong digital presence over the years and our marketing activities are aligned to boost our digital presence” said, Ishu Datwani, Founder-Anmol.

He said further, “Anmol, being a 33 year old brand has over the years created a very strong top of the mind recall which gives us an edge over the competition and given a choice, the discerning customer would always choose Anmol. Keeping these factors in mind, we are expecting at least 20-25% growth in terms of sales this Dhanteras in comparison to the last 2 years.”

Another leading jeweller Aditya Pethe, Director, WHP Jewellers said, “We have seen a tremendous response in bullion sales on ecommerce. At Store level, So far the festive season has been average. Though we did sales on Dussera, the wedding shopping is yet to pick up.

We are optimistic that during Dhanteras our year on year targets will be met. Being festive season, like every year, we have seen rise in silver articles sales since Ganesh Utsav. Light weight diamond Jewellery as well as diamond set under 3 lacs are popular amongst our buyers. Over all if I club online and offline sales, we have done decent business.”
