The top half of the Grande Seconde Dial shows the local time, whereas the lower half features the 24-hour home time display.

Founded nearly three centuries ago, travel has a historical significance for Jaquet Droz. Founder Pierre Jaquet Droz and his son earned their status as pioneers of international clock making trade, as they sailed from nations to nations to share their mechanical marvels with the world.

Ever the explorer, the brand proudly unveils the Grande Seconde Dual Time, a timepiece boasting stylish and contemporary new look that ushers the centuries-strong aesthetic of the Grande Seconde toward new horizons.

The display is split into two distinct 12-hour segments: white for daytime and black for night, allowing a more intuitive reading.

The travel complication at 6 o’clock employs the powdery finish, bringing the world map to life with the realism and volume of the Earth texture. Encased in a 43 mm red gold case, Grande Seconde Dual Time with an ivory Grand Feu enamel dial retains the classic Jaquet Droz heritage – a new venture to add to the family saga that dates back more than 280 years.

Jaquet Droz’s Grande Seconde Dual Time will be showcased together with a variety of the brand.
