ICA's 2019 Congress begins today!

Under the Prida Tiasuwan, Chairman-ICA Congress 2019, The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA), and the ICA members of Thailand are delighted to play host to all our industry friends from across the world at the 19th ICA Congress to begin today, from 12th to 15th October, 2019 at the Shangri-La Hotel, in Bangkok.

 

Thailand is going to be the first country to host the event for the 3rd time 1987, 2005 and now 2019. Bangkok being the world's largest colored stone trading and processing hub, gives us an immense opportunity to create great awareness about colored stones to a global audience who share, network and enjoy this much anticipated event.

 

This Congress will have the largest representation of female speakers and it will also have the first ever representation of artisanal miners on an international platform. Topics range from rubies, gemstones, mining, technology, the young generation, designs, market trends, social responsibility, media, retailing, and more.

 

Our Steering Committee has devoted tremendous amount of time and effort in creating an array of exciting events, which we are sure will be talked about in years to come. The highlights of the Congress will be the Tennis & Golf tournament, a dinner cruise, Gala Ruby Night and many more.
