A magical anomaly of nature!

Gemfields highlighted, “In Bemba, the local language of northern Zambia, Bela means emerald. It takes extremely rare geological conditions for the gem to be born, a magical anomaly of nature.”

 

Photographer Victor Marvillet will showcase a selection of images from his Searching for Bela series, taken in and around Kagem emerald mine, as part of his solo exhibition, Search – Fight – Grow, at the Fujifilm X Space gallery in Shanghai from the 19th to 28th of September.
