World Brand Piazza 2019 Inaugurated!
Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2019, Prince Jewellery & Watch proudly returns to the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair from 3rd to 7th September and presents the 10th edition of World Brand Piazza, showcasing Haute Horology masterpieces from 13 top-tier brands including Blancpain, Breguet, Chopard, Corum, Franck Muller, Glashütte Original, Jacob & Co, Jaquet Droz, Juvenia, Parmigiani Fleuier, Piaget, Sarcar Genève and Zenith.
Among the magnificent showpieces are the Piaget Emperador Coussin XL 700P, driven by Piaget’s first hybrid movement that combines a self-winding calibre with a quartz generator, featuring meticulous traditional finishing on the black-coated cushion-shaped movement, priced at HK$650,000; and the Fleurs de Jardin by Jacob & Co, a mechanical spectacle embellished with 48 pink sapphires and 11 flowers made of various gemstones, including a sunflower forged with a 288-facet Jacob-cut citrine of 1 carat, priced at HK$3,168,000.
An opening ceremony was held to celebrate the grand opening of World Brand Piazza 2019, featuring the presence of esteemed figures including The Hon Andrew Leung, GBS, JP, President of the Legislative Council, Ms Margaret Fong, Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Mr. Benjamin Chau, Deputy Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Dr. Jimmy Tang, MH, JP, Group Chairman & CEO of Prince Jewellery & Watch, Mrs. Vinny Chu, Executive Director of Prince Jewellery & Watch, Ms Pauline So, Director of Prince Jewellery & Watch, Mr. Ambrose Chu, Director of Prince Jewellery & Watch and Mr. Eamon Chu, Director & Chief Financial Officer of Prince Jewellery & Watch, as the officiating guests.
The ceremony was commenced by a welcome speech by Dr. Tang, in which he expressed utmost gratitude to Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the attending guests, as well as to the 13 participating watch brands for their continuous support. The officiating guests, brand representatives and models then joined Dr. Tang for a toast, wishing World Brand Piazza 2019 great success. The ceremony was completed with a VIP tour around World Brand Piazza, in which the guests were guided by Dr. Tang to appreciate the stunning pieces on show.
