The Emperador Coussin XL 700P Watch is the perfect fusion of a mechanical ultra-thin movement 700P with a generator-based regulation.
This standout timepiece combines the reliability and precision of Swiss Made electronic regulation with Piaget’s iconic reverse-construction mechanical calibre. This accomplishment, for which ten patents have been filed, stems from years of R&D conducted within the Piaget Manufacture. The 46.5 mm timepiece with an 18K pink gold case is set with 160 diamonds totaling 1.39 carats.
This fascinating inverted construction reveals the main functional elements of the watch on the dial: the offset oscillating weight and the generator form a figure 8, symbol of luck. The pointed hours and minute’s hand, ex-centred on the dial, sweep over finely tapered hour-markers.
The black-coated cushion-shaped movement displays its meticulous traditional finishes, such as the guilloché micro-rotor adorned with the Piaget coat-of-arms, sunburst and chamfered bridges and circular stain-brushed wheels. Limited edition of 118 pieces, the timepiece exudes a distinctive aura of elegance and is endowed with perfectly accomplished technical content.
