India Diamond Week Opened in New York

New York: The 6th India Diamond Week organised by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) opens yesterday with 48 diamond manufacturers displaying their products on the Trading Floor of the Diamond Dealers Club, New York. The 3½ day event concludes on Thursday, January 26.

The annnual trading platform has been established to assist Indian diamantaires develop and strenthen their ties with companies operating in the largest market for diamond jewellery in the US. The exhibitors include 13 companies from India and 35 manufacturers with offices in New York.

In addition to the direct business deals that will be reached between sellers and buyers on the floor, the participants will also have the opportunity to interact with invited buyers and members of the DDC at a Gala Dinner-cum-Networking evening on January 25, 2017.
