The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will stage the 6th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show from 26 February to 2 March 2019 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, and the 36th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show from 28 February to 4 March 2019 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The twin shows anticipate a total of more than 4,550 exhibitors across the globe, forming the world’s largest jewellery marketplace for traders to tap into global markets. In 2018, the shows attracted about 87,000 leading buyers from 145 countries and regions.
Branded collections and finished jewellery glitter at HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show
Dedicated to an extensive array of fine jewellery, the Jewellery Show spotlights the Hall of Fame presenting branded collections of style-leading jewellery. The Hall of Extraordinary is home to top-tier jewellery companies showcasing exquisite, valuable and unique jewellery pieces. Designer Galleria houses cutting-edge and radiant designer brands, while the World of Glamour showcases the artistry and craftsmanship of Hong Kong jewellers.
Other themed zones include the Hall of Jade Jewellery for A-grade jadeite jewellery, Antique & Vintage Jewellery Galleria gathering treasures from bygone eras, Treasures of Craftsmanship bringing crafted decorative items, the Hall of Time highlighting luxury timepieces, as well as Wedding Bijoux for mementos of love. Back by popular demand, IT Solutions for Jewellery zone presents the latest industry technology and solutions for design, production, e-commerce, asset management and quality control.
Sparkling jewellery raw materials at HKTDC Hong Kong Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show
The Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show specialises in jewellery raw materials including loose diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones and pearls. The materials will be on display at three dedicated zones, namely the Hall of Fine Diamonds for exceptional natural diamonds, Treasures of Nature for brilliant gemstones, and Treasures of Ocean for exquisite pearls, to facilitate efficient and easy sourcing.
A shining experience in all directions
The twin shows are one-stop showcases that attract buyers to uncover every facet of the industry. Beyond the world’s most spectacular pieces, the shows will also feature expert-led seminars, trend analysis, vibrant parades, networking opportunities and a celebration of excellence with the 20th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition as well as the biennial International Jewellery Design Excellence (IJDE) Award 2019, honouring outstanding design and creativity from talent. Winning entries will be showcased during the Jewellery Show.
