Chopard’s Happy Sport of stainless steel and diamonds

In 1993, a brilliant concept sparked Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele’s mind. By seamlessly combining stainless steel and diamonds, the bold and refreshing Happy Sport collection was born. The sporty, spontaneous, yet exquisitely feminine line highlights the whimsical and cheerful characteristics of the wearer.

To mark the collection’s 25th birthday, Chopard revamped the collection, and created the Happy Sport Oval in the shape of an oval, a symbol of abundance and eternity in many cultures. Equipped with the mechanical self-winding movement Chopard 09.01-C, the oval case is redesigned in accordance with the brand’s aesthetics.

The bezel is slimmer at 12 and 6 o’clock, whilst more generous at 3 and 9 o’clock, thus endowing both the watch and the wrist it adorns with an unmistakable sense of distinction and finesse. Inside the 31 x 29 mm diamond-set rose gold case, seven Happy Sport signature moving diamonds waltz like étoile dancers across the silver-toned guilloché dial.

Feminine and radical, precious and chic, the timepiece with a marine blue alligator strap is a gorgeous complement to modern women with refined taste. Chopard’s Happy Sport Oval will be showcased at World Brand Piazza 2018, from 4th to 8th September 2018.
