Exclusive Seminar by IIG with Tatyana

The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) recently hosted international jewellery expert and connoisseur Tatyana Pfaifer at their Panchratna campus in Mumbai.

 

A frequent visitor to renowned international jewellery exhibitions such as Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, Top Marques Monaco and Baselworld, she offered valuable information on the types of jewellery showcased here. She also enlightened participants on what makes collectible jewellery and shared information on works by illustrious jewellery designers such as Wallace Chan, Anna Hu, VirenBhagat and JAR.

 

Ms Pfaifer also spoke extensively on Indian handcrafted jewellery and offered advice to budding Indian jewellers who wish to take their work to a global platform. “At IIG, we are focussed on training our students in the best technology and market practices so that they may be worthy competitors in the global market.
