Road map for IIJS 2019
At the occasion of concluding IIJS 2018, the 35th edition, Pramod Agarwal, Chairman-GJEPC said: “right with the concluding day of the IIJS 2018, IIJS team would start working on the improvement further of IIJS for 2019!” He also said the team is working on registration for IIJS 2019; the team is focusing to set up a system to accept 100% registration Online Only!
Shailesh Sangani, Convener-National Exhibitions GJEPC extended his view to edge up more the IIJS in 2019. ‘Yet it’s a raw’, he said ‘let’s working on!’ In the row he reaffirms GJEPC’s new beginning & an introduction of Preview Day of IIJS, just ahead a day before curtain raising ceremony!
Sangani reported both of the view! He said, in the term of footfalls, some of the exhibitors found a low footfalls while many players, especially those who had showcased a new collection, new range & new jewellery line appreciated this invited players visit because they could expressed well, exhibit well & communicate well with the visitors in the absence of heavy rush!
Transparently he explained the adopted system of GJEPC in sending an invitation to visit the Preview of IIJS 2018. He said, this year the GJEPC invited by considering visitors’ loyalty! Where parameter was set to invite those who had been attended the IIJS continuously for last five years! And we did this at IIJS 2018.
Now because of mixed sentiment & reactions from the exhibitors, we may change the parameter. Now, further for IIJS 2019 instead of inviting visitors’ like a loyalty Programme, we would ask visitors-those who wish to attend the Preview Day of IIJS, why should the IIJS invite you on the Preview Day! Preview Day next would witness more visitors!
In the addition of Preview Day, GJEPC also organized, ‘Prelude to IIJS 2018’, a B2B event on 8th August at Hotel JW Marriot. The event featured leading Jewellery Manufacturers showcasing their exquisite jewellery collections specially created for 35th India International Jewellery Show (IIJS).
