The Swarovski Gem Visions Jewelry Design Contest Winners Announced!

Bollywood celebrities Ameesha Patel, Rimi Sen &Kainath Arora glam up Swarovski’s Fashion Show with winning pieces of Emerald Jewel Industry, Divinus Creations, YUG by Tanvi Gold Cast and RKR Gold.

Swarovski celebrated some of the best and brightest in Indian jewelry design at a fashion show and ceremony on August 9, 2018 to announce the winners of their design contest which drew on the latest Swarovski Zirconia cuts and trend colors for inspiration.

 

The presentation was made at a show-stopping event at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai entitled “Swarovski Gemstones™ presents Lumiére – Networking Meet”. The occasion was organized by the All India Gems and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC).

 

Competitors, drawn from Swarovski’s Ingredient Branding Partners, were able to submit up to five individualdesigns using one, or more, of the 2018 Swarovski Zirconia or Gemstones assortment. These included trendcolors Fancy Morganite and Spring Green in the zirconia assortment, and Topaz Peach from the genuinegemstones. Also available to them were innovative cuts, all new to the portfolio.

 

Swarovski sponsored the stones and designers also consulted the trends highlighted by the latest Swarovski Gem Visions trend report.The event was attended by the country’s most important jewelry manufacturers and retailers, and leading entries in the competition were displayed in a glamorous fashionshow. The winning pieces were presented by beautiful Bollywood celebrities Ameesha Patel, Rimi Sen and Kainath Arora.

 

Taking first place was a stunning, richly crafted gold necklace by Emerald Jewel Industry Ltd, that culminated at the base in a fantastic spray of stones emanating from a multi-colored central motif featuring the latest Swarovski Zirconia Liquid cuts, and fresh new colors, including Spring Green and Fancy Morganite. Mrs. Shakti Srinivasan & Ms. Nishtaa Srinivasan from Emerald walked the ramp with Ameesha Patel.

 

In second place was Divinus Creation, which created an elegant necklace and earring combination set with the Swarovski Zirconia Liquid cuts, the fresh trend color Spring Green and the newly launched RoundCheckerboard cut. Each of the seven strands in the spectacular gold drop necklace was embellished with stones and culminated in an attractive central motif, a bigger version of which was duplicated in the drop earrings. Mrs. SwetaNarsaria from Divinus walked the ramp with Rimmi Sen.

 

Third place was shared by RKR Gold Pvt. Ltd. and YUG by Tanvi Gold Cast LLP. RKR Gold Pvt. Ltd submitted a gold openwork bracelet/ hand cuff with Zirconia from Swarovski in the innovative Round Checkerboard and Liquid cuts. The bracelet was highlighted by an exotic sunburst spray of colored stones.

 

The YUG by Tanvi Gold Cast LLP multi-stranded pendant and earrings also drew on the new Swarovski Zirconia Liquid cuts. An intricately-worked, central, fan-shaped motif was the central feature of the pendant and the motif was repeated in the earrings.

 

Mr. Venkat Krishna from RKR and Mr. Bipin Viradiya from YUG by Tanvi Gold cast walked the ramp with Kainath AroraImpressive entries were also submitted by Swarovski’s additional participating partners including Amy Exports and Imports, Gunjan Jewels, Surya Golds, Senco Gold & Diamond, Bhindi manufacturers, Blue Lotus Jewellery, Pure Platinum Jewellery, Rasi Jewellers, SPINKS INDIA, and Anmol Jewellers- Hyderabad.

V Sreedhar - Sree Rama Jewels, Mr. Ashish Pethe - Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers, Mr. Aditya Pethe - WHP, Mr. JayantilalChallani -Challani Jewellery, Mr. Milan Shah - Kalamandir Jewellers, Ms. Archana Kochhar - Fashion Designer, Ms. Pallavi Foley - Pallavi Foley Boutique Jewels, Ms. Gunjan Suri - Gunjan Suri Couture Jewels, Mr. Nitin Jain - Amazon India, Mr. Kapil Hetamsaria - Velvetcase.Com, Mrs. Sangita Shah - Chandukaka Saraf & Sons and Mr. Vijay Soni - A.B. Jewels.

 

The outright winner received a certificate in a Swarovski studded golden frame, while the second and third place certificates were mounted Swarovski silver frame.
