GJEPC commences India Australia BSM!

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) commences the India Australia Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) with inauguration on August 7 & that to run through August 9 in Mumbai. In three days BSM the Australian players would also visit SEEPZ SEZ.

 

Inaugural event witnessed Vice-Chairman, GJEPC, Shri Colin Shah, Mr Jeremy Keight, Buyers by the Coordinator of BSM, Dilipbhai-GJEPC Gujarat & ED-GJEPC Sabyasachi Ray on the dais among the presence of Buyer delegation, Sellers from India & invitees!

 

Colin Shah said about GJEPC to buyers. He also referred India Argyle relationship. Before India that joins Argyle just 25% of diamonds were of gem quality & rest Industrial gem. Equation that changes right with the India –Argyle tie up and Argyle provided 75% gem quality of diamonds!

 

Over this 25 years India has started with young team & players. As of today Jewellery exports of India is larger than China & Thailand, thus India is the global leader in gem-n-jewellery. Equally India is known for its diamond jewellery!   

 

While saying gem-n-jewellery, India is processing 90% of global rough in volume & in the term of value, India shares 75% of the total global market. He said, GJEPC plays a crucial role as a trade facilitator! He wishes all those players, Buyer-n-seller to reach a good business & deal!

 

At the occasion Jeremy Keight said about the unique situation & opportunity to source from India. Priorly he introduced every buyer that was from Australia & Ireland. In a formal talk he said Nayan Jani that they would remain in India and attend the IIJS.

 

From seller side there are showcases of Fine Jewellery, Intergold, Uni-Design, KBS Creation, Tache Jewellery, V M Jewellery & others joined with their cutting edge crafts-n-designs with ut-most finishing!
