BDSL 2018 opens ahead of BDW

BDSL 2018 opened up just ahead of Bharat Diamond Week (BDW) at Wilson Gymkhana, Mumbai.

 With all those sportsmanship, opening performance made by BDB security & fire safety team. They cheered ground with alight of Torch by BDB Committee & Chief Guests with parade of all teams owners and player.

 

Organizers of the Bharat Diamond Week at the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) in Mumbai, India, are gearing up for the inaugural show which takes place from April 23-25. And ahead of the international diamond week, preparations are in full swing for a cricket tournament that will be taking place from April 8-15, in the run-up to the Bharat Diamond Week.

 

"There is a carnival atmosphere at the bourse, with all eyes on the cricket tournament and the Bharat Diamond Week that will follow," said Bharat Diamond Bourse Vice-President Mehul Shah, who is heading the Diamond Week project. "The tournament can be followed online via Zooter app or Facebook, as well as on 30 screens in the bourse buildings."

 

On the day 1, April 8, three match played. Match 1, played between MB mavericks owned by Mahendra brothers & Asian superstars owned by Asian stars. MB mavericks defeated Asian superstars by 12 runs. Match 2, sparkled between SRkians owned by Sri Ramkrishna group & Venus Tigers owned by Venus Jewel. In the row, SRkians  defeated Venus Tigers by 3 wickets.

 

Match 3, being played by Palanlur Nawab owned by Palanpur Samaj & Rosy Blue. The Palanlur Nawab defeated Rosy Blue by 3 wickets. Amid BDB officials, members notable guests, 1: GST commissioner Shree Rajiv Jalota, IAS, 2: GST Commissioner Shree Vijay Rishi, IRS, 3: Mr Bhusan Gagrani, CIDCO-V, Chairman & MD and Mr Surandre Badge, IAS, GM of BEST remained present & they boost up the sportsman spirit!
