A fashion focus-lunchtime workshop on ethics & mindfulness in fine jewelry design would be presentation by Alexandra Mor, Artistic Director & Fine Jewelry Designer on April 24th 2018 at NY. Alexandra says,  A connection with Mother Earth is a connection with ourselves.

 

From our first breath to our very last, we are being nourished by, and are given opportunities and get to choose our own individual way of relating with the planet and her inhabitants. According to the announcement winning Artistic-Director and Fine-Jewelry Designer Alexandra Mor, to participate in an inspirational conversation about sustainability, mindfulness and ethical practices in fine & Haute-Couture jewelry.

 

The workshop would focus on the Tagua Seed, a botanical alternative for Ivory, Applying sustainable materials in design, How the future of fine jewelry is shifting & How can your practice become sustainable.

 

Fine Jewelry designer Alexandra Mor, previous winner of the FGI Rising Star award and 2018 Town & Country magazine' Innovator of the Year' Jewelry award winner,  works at her design offices in New York City's famed Diamond District.

 

She has recently traveled in Asia, and lived in Bali, Indonesia, where she was inspired to create the first of it's kind, sustainable Tagua Seed fine jewelry collection. After launching her first collection in 2010 at New York's Phillips de Pury, Mor incorporates diamonds and fine gemstones, set in platinum and 18 karat gold for her Signature Collection of limited-edition,  One-of-A- Kind & as well as Bespoke service.
