Ethics & mindfulness in fine jewelry design

Alexandra Mor, Artistic Director & Fine Jewelry Designer has announced Fashion focus-lunchtime workshop

with the focus of ethics & mindfulness in fine jewelry design. The workshop would be held March 08, at New York to also focus to learn and discover, 1: The Tagua Seed, a botanical alternative for Ivory, 2: Applying sustainable materials in design, 3: How the future of fine jewelry is shifting & 4: How can your practice become sustainable.

A connection with Mother Earth is a connection with ourselves.  From our first breath to our very last, we are being nourished by, and are given opportunities and get to choose our own individual way of relating with the planet and her inhabitants. Mor says to join the workshop in honor of International Women's Day, 2018, to participate in an inspirational conversation about sustainability, mindfulness and ethical practices in fine & Haute-Couture jewelry.

Fine Jewelry designer Alexandra Mor, previous winner of the FGI Rising Star award, works at her design offices in New York City's famed Diamond District. She has recently traveled in Asia, and lived in Bali, Indonesia, where she was inspired to create the first of it's kind, sustainable Tagua Seed fine jewelry collection.

After launching her first collection in 2010 at New York's Phillips de Pury, Mor incorporates diamonds and fine gemstones, set in platinum and 18 karat gold for her Signature Collection of limited-edition,  one-of-a- kind & as well as bespoke collections.
