Design Inspirations on February 13!

It is most likely to witness most inspirational seminar, Design Inspirations (DI) during February 13 & 14 in Mumbai. Insights on upcoming jewellery design trends, latest in technology, metals & materials, fashion & more about designing would be shared by experts & discussed!

 

The seminar would also focus on trends India, US & Europe! Defining tomorrow, defining the future of jewellery design! Then GJEPC Chairman, Praveenshankar Pandya had said at the inaugural of DI 2017, “India’s jewellery exports account for only 20% of the global business and most of this constitutes manufacturing to designs provided by international retailers; not much of bridal.”

 

India, de facto has rich archives of traditional jewellery designs and now we need to blend the modern with the traditional. In sync with the Prime Minister’s vision of replicating India’s diamond business in the jewellery business!

 

The last DI 2017 had focused on Design for Millennials! In her key note address Shimul Vyas, NID's Outreach Programmes Head said, the way Millennials are growing, their background is equally vital to know before curving any design for Millennials because global social fibre has been shifted in the context of, 1: global connect, 2: Technical implanted society & 3: mobile dominated social surroundings.
