Mumbai: A contingent of 15 leading Indian manufacturers of loose gemstones and jewellery are participating in the India Pavilion at BaselWorld 2017. The show, which opened yesterday and is expected to attract over 150,000 visitors/buyers from across the globe, runs till March 30, 2017.
The India Pavilion, which covers nearly 200 sq m, includes leading players from different centres including M. Tarun, Aditya Gems, J.B. Brothers, P.Hirani, Arihant Star, Sejal Exports Panim Exports, R.K. Gems, among others.
This year the Pavilion has an added attraction – a special ‘India Product Gallery’ in Hall 3.1, which will showcase some exquisite gemstones manufactured in India. The participants in the product gallery are Marudhar Exports, Singhal Exports, Sheru Gems, Pihu Gems, Lakhi Gems, Satyam Gems and K.L. Tambi & Co.
