Premier
Gold Mines reports operating results for the three months ended September 30,
2019. The Company previously released third quarter production results on
October 30, 2019. Premier is a growth-oriented, Canadian-based mining company
involved in the exploration, development and production of gold and silver
deposits in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
The
company manages a high-quality pipeline of precious metal projects in safe,
proven, and accessible mining jurisdictions and is focused on profitable
low-cost production from its two producing gold mines and the ongoing
development of several advanced-stages, multi-million ounce gold deposits.
Lydian gold reserves increased to 119.3 mn ton
Lydian
International Limited announced its results for the three months ended
September 30, 2019. Third Quarter 2019 and recent developments includes Illegal
Blockades, the blockades continue at the Amulsar Project site, having been in
place since 2018.
As a
result, on March 11, 2019, two of Lydian’s subsidiaries formally notified the
Government of Armenia of the existence of disputes with the Government of
Armenia under the UK BIT and the Canada BIT. Starting on August 19, 2019, the
Prime Minister has made repeated statements that Lydian’s access to the Amulsar
Project site should be restored.
Harnessing Technology in diamond disruption
Sarine
Technologies said that the Group’s CEO David Block participated in a key
technology panel at the Fourth Dubai Diamond Conference (DDC), focusing on
technology disruption and its positive potential for the diamond industry.
Titled,
Disruption in Diamonds – Harnessing Technology for Positive Change, the panel
members included Sarine CEO David Block, alongside Bernold Richerzhagen,
founder and CEO of Synova, Faried Sallie, Head of Technology at De Beers Group
and Tom Moses, Executive Vice President and Chief of Laboratory and Research at
GIA.
Diamonds Replicas gifted by GIA India to museum
GIA
India is gifting replicas of famous diamonds to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja
Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS), Mumbai, for the museum’s new jewellery gallery. The
replicas were presented to Mr. Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Director General of CSMVS,
by Ms. Nirupa Bhatt, Managing Director of GIA India and Middle East, on Nov. 7.
Also present at the ceremony was the consultant co-curator for the jewellery
gallery, Dr. Usha Balakrishnan, among other dignitaries.

WFDB and DPA to Create Powerful Marketing
The
World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) has launched a powerful new
marketing channel for the dissemination of industry news to promote diamonds in
a tie-up with the Diamond Producers Association (DPA). WFDB President Ernie
Blom said the new initiative would help spread positive news about diamonds and
create a unified response to help counter negative advertising by the lab-grown
diamond sector and prevent confusion among consumers.
