Silver supply to remain surplus in 2019!
Silver
to remain in a small surplus in 2019, but improving investor sentiment will
help drive the price higher. At the Annual Silver Industry Dinner hosted by the
Silver Institute, Philip Newman, Director at Metals Focus presented the Metals
Focus / Silver Institute Interim Silver Market Review, which featured
historical supply and demand statistics and provisional estimates for 2019. The
following are the key highlights from the presentation.

collection of 12 hand-finished products, including charms, pendants and a

River of No Return Wilderness coin
On
Wednesday, November 6, 2019, the U.S. Mint released a quarter honoring the
Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness in Idaho. The quarter is the fifth
and final release of 2019 as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
The
quarter launch ceremony was attended by 1,500 people, including 1,200 school
children. Following the launch ceremony, the East Idaho Federal Credit Union
exchanged $14,500 in Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness quarters.
AGA foundation finalized
With
the synergy of 9 founding members, Asia Pacific Gemstone and Technology
Standardization Alliance (AGA) announced founded. In February 2019 with the
initiative of the NGTC, it was decided to form AGA. In the next meeting held in Hong Kong during
September 2019, the statutes of AGA, code of conduct and related matters were
discussed and a draft was finalized. The
draft was e-circulated for further refining. The refined statutes were
discussed and adopted in the foundation meeting held on 8th November, 2019, in
Shanghai, China.
Platinum Group Reports 2019 outlook
Recently
Platinum Group Metals reports the Company's financial results and provides an
update and outlook. The Company has focused its business on the palladium
dominant Waterberg Project located on the North Limb of the Bushveld Complex in
South Africa. Here is their outlook part:
The
Company achieved several important business objectives during the past 12
months, including the repayment of a significant portion of the Company's
secured debt and the completion of the Waterberg DFS. The positive results of
the Waterberg DFS provide a solid base for the assessment of value for the
Waterberg Project in the year ahead.
WGDE to progress the work in 2020: KP Plenary
KP
Concludes, Update 2: India the KP Chair Kimberley Process hosted Plenary in New
Delhi during November 18th & up to 22nd November 2019 was convened as the
Sixteenth Kimberley Process (KP) Plenary Meeting.
The
Plenary noted progress on the work of the Working Group on Diamond Expert (WGDE) on
the promotion of the KP/2018/Plenary/Administrative Decision 04 on the Use of
Unified Diamond Nomenclature and Terminology as a Best Practice, and welcomed
the progress achieved with the World Customs Organisation in adopting separate
HS Codes on natural and synthetic diamonds within the 2022 version of the
Harmonized System.
