At Latique, the art of Kundan jewellery flourished in the royal courts of Rajasthan and Gujarat under the encouragement and patronage of the Mughals from the 16th century onwards.  Kundan pieces are extremely intricate and involve a lot of skilled labour.

Each piece is hand-finished, which translates into countless hours of hard work by skilled artisans. The time taken to craft a small piece of kundan jewellery could vary anywhere between two to four months, depending on the craftsmanship and the intricacy of the chosen design.

Altus Sign Strategic Investment

Altus Strategies, the Africa focused project and royalty generator, announces that further to the Company’s announcement, it has entered into a Strategic Investment Agreement with La Mancha Holdings SÀRL, a Luxembourg-incorporated private gold investment company. Under the Agreement and subject to regulatory and Altus shareholder approval, La Mancha will subscribe.

Strategic Investment Agreement, conditional strategic investment from La Mancha of approximately C$11.2 million or say approximately US$8.4 million. La Mancha Investment occurring at an approximate 20% premium to the closing market price and an approximate 30% premium to the Company’s 30 day volume weighted average price, in each case on the TSX Venture Exchange, being the last trading day prior to the announcement of the Letter of Intent between La Mancha and Altus.

Orion Veins receives High-Grade gold

Wallbridge Extends the Lower Tabasco Zone by 230 Metres Down-Dip and Receives First High-Grade Assays from Orion Veins! Wallbridge Mining Company’s drill program on Fenelon Gold Property has intersected visible gold and abundant sulfide mineralization over a 16-metre core length. This extends the Lower Tabasco Zone a further 230 m down-dip to a vertical depth of 850 metres.

High grade assays were also received from drill holes testing the newly discovered Orion Corridor located over 400 metres to the southeast, further demonstrating the exceptional gold endowment in this gold system over the entire one kilometre strike length explored so far.

Kinsley Mountain Gold Deposit at Shift

Recently Liberty Gold announced that it has signed a definitive purchase option agreement for the sale of its 79.1% interest in the Kinsley Mountain Gold project, located in northwest Nevada to Barrian Mining. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, on closing, Liberty Gold will receive an aggregate of over US$7,500,000 in value for Kinsley.
