Birks Inks Deal to Sell Diamonds in Asia
Hong Kong: Montreal-based Birks Group has
tied up with online retailer Luxify to sell top-end polished diamonds to
consumers in Asia, reports Rapaport.
Winner of “Think Big” Jewellery Design Competition
Antwerp: TTF has launched last year an
international jewellery competition for diamonds rings called “Think Big”,
featuring exclusively diamonds of 1 ct and above. On January 8, 2017, an
international jury selected the 10 best designs and awarded the first prize out
of 2000 entries. The selection criteria were: creativity, technique
(craftsmanship) and commercial potential. The jury highlighted the importance
of the competition as a stimulus for creativity in diamond jewellery design.
