Rolls-Royce Car Painted with 1000 Diamonds
Geneva: Geneva International Motor, which
was held last week, saw plenty of luxury cars, but one may well outshine all
others, literally: Rolls-Royce has unveiled a version of its Ghost luxury car
painted with diamonds. According to the car company, the “Diamond Stardust” car
is the “first luxury motor car to be finished in a paint created from
diamonds”.

Frauds in Indian Banks
New Delhi: ICICI Bank topped the list of
banks that witnessed most number of frauds during April-December period of 2016
with state-owned SBI in the second spot, according to Reserve Bank of India

Zimbabwe to Expand Diamond Exploration Activity
Harare: The Zimbabwe government owned
diamond company Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (ZCDC) has announced that
it plans to expand its diamond exploration activity to other parts of
Manicaland in the Mutasa and Mutambara districts, according to reports in the
local media, quoting a notice on the company’s website.
Lucapa to Receive $5.6 Million Capital Repayment
Luanda: The Lulo alluvial diamond venture
in Angola has declared US$8 million in a combined distribution and capital
repayment, and Lucapa Diamond - as operator and funder of both the Lulo
alluvial mining and kimberlite exploration programs – will be entitled to
receive a gross amount of US$5.6 million (A$7.3 million), the company writes in
an ASX statement.
