e-way bill grievance redressal officers appointed
As
per the decision of the GST Council, e-way bill system has been rolled-out in a
staggered manner across the country. E-way bills are getting generated
successfully and till 17th July, 2018, more than Thirteen Crore and Fifty Lakh
e-way bills have been generated which includes Six Crore and Fifty Lakh E-way
bills for Intra-State movement of goods.
Grievance
Redressal Officers have been appointed by both the Central and State
Governments under the provisions of e-way bill rules for processing the
complaints/information uploaded by taxpayers/transporters regarding detention

Government takes measures for GST refund
In
order to sort out the problems being faced by the exporters for refund claims
of GST two ‘Special Drive Refund Fortnight’ were organized from 15.3.2018 to
29.3.2018 and from 31.5.2018 to 16.6.2018. As a result, most of the claims
filed till 30.04.2018 have been sanctioned. IGST refunds amounting to Rs.
21,142 crore and RFD-01A refunds totalling Rs 16,920 crore has been sanctioned
by CBIC and State Governments as on 16.06.2018.

Kazan 2019
The
Russian Government is confident that Russia is ready to host WorldSkills Kazan
2019. Delivery of this event will help change the vocational training system of
the country. This was announced in the White House by Deputy Prime Minister
Tatyana Golikova during a meeting with President of WorldSkills Simon Bartley,
WSI Chief Executive Officer David Hoey, and Director General of the Young
Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Union, Robert Urazov.
Pangolin eyeing Orapa Kimberlite, inks JV
Pangolin
Diamonds (PAN) has finalized the commercial terms of the Joint Venture
Agreement with Makanwu Civil Blasting (PTY) Ltd. (MCB), a private company
incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Botswana owned by citizen
partners. PAN has previously announced signing an Option Agreement under which
it has the option to enter into a Joint Venture with MCB after PAN has
evaluated the geological merits of the AK10 kimberlite.
Under
the Joint Venture Agreement, MCB has granted PAN the sole and exclusive option
to earn up to a 75% interest in respect of MCB’s precious stone AK10 Diamond
Project located in the Central District of Botswana, Africa.
B2Gold revenues increase to $285 Million
According
to B2Gold Corp. its quarterly consolidated gold production of 240,093 ounces, a
significant increase of 98% (or 118,645 ounces) over the same period last year
and 7% (or 16,308 ounces) above budget, due to the continued strong
performances of the Fekola Mine in Mali, Masbate Mine in the Philippines and
the Otjikoto Mine in Namibia
Consolidated
gold revenue of $285 million, a significant increase of 73% (or $121 million)
over the same period last year. Fekola Mine continued to operate above plan,
producing 112,644 ounces of gold in the quarter, 11% (or 11,225 ounces) above
budget, based on Fekola’s strong year-to-date performance, Fekola’s annual
production guidance has been revised higher to be between 420,000 to 430,000
ounces of gold (original guidance was between 400,000 to 410,000 ounces).
Premier Sales of 20,642 Oz gold in Q2
By
Increasing annual gold production guidance Premier Gold Mines Limited announces
its second quarter (Q2) production results, including an increase in annual
production guidance, and a continued solid and safe track record from the
Company’s mining operations.
According
to the report, during the Q2 2018 gold production remained of 16,007 ounces
with silver production of 51,746 ounces. All together gold sales of 20,642
ounces during the quarter 2. First half gold production from South Arturo
significantly exceeded annual production forecasts. The Company has therefore
revised its full-year consolidated production guidance from 85,000 - 95,000 to
90,000 - 100,000 ounces of gold.
CIBJO participating in ECOSOC
CIBJO
President Gaetano Cavalieri is participating in the annual High-Level Segment
of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) currently underway in New York,
where just prior to the meeting the council's Secretary General approved and
distributed a statement on the jewellery industry's contribution to the UN
development programme that had been submitted by the World Jewellery
Confederation.
The
three-day ECOSOC gathering that began on July 16 represents the culmination of ECOSOC's
annual cycle of work, and convenes a diverse group of senior representatives
from government, private sector, civil society and academia for policy
dialogue, review and recommendations on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development, as well as other international development goals.
DMCC Signs MoU with Royal Fund Investments
DMCC,
the world’s flagship Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities
trade and enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Royal
Fund Investments LLC (RFI).
Ahmed
Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of DMCC and Guolong Ma, CEO, RFI signed the MoU
at DMCC’s headquarters Almas Tower, further cementing the strong bilateral
trade relations between DMCC and a rapidly growing Chinese business community.
Vocational occupations to be more significant!
It
is both a great honour and a big responsibility to host WorldSkills Competition
in Kazan. This was announced by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at
the meeting with members of the WorldSkills International Board of Directors
led by President of WorldSkills, Simon Bartley. The meeting took place at the
House of Government of Tatarstan.
Welcoming
the WorldSkills International management, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the guests
once more for the trust they placed in Russia and Kazan. He reminded that
Russia had joined the WorldSkills movement just recently but there is already
the outcome we can see as the country holds national competitions, and Russian
representatives are participating in the European events.
GoGold silver sales hike up by 34% YoY
GoGold
Resources announces sales of 382,150 silver equivalent ounces for the quarter
ended June 30, 2018, which was an increase of 34% over the previous year. The Company produced 163,991 ounces of silver
and 1,630 ounces of gold for 292,273 silver equivalent ounces at the Parral
project during the quarter, a 2% decrease from the prior year.
