Four Swarovski crystals embedded coin!
Three
small clear ones within the engraved pattern and a larger one that adds more
colourful sparkle than the actual birthstone could be the perfect gift for
someone born in July! With its bold red colour, a ruby easily stands out and
instantly stirs the imagination. The traditional birthstone for July is a
symbol of zeal and passion.
It
is traditionally believed to offer fortune and beauty. Flanked by three smaller
Swarovski crystals and surrounded by a Celtic art-inspired design, the
colourful Swarovski crystal at the centre is a token of good fortune not just
in birthday month, but for the whole year. And with the help of a bezel kit,
coin will easily become a cherished piece of jewellery that expresses who you
are.

eight pearl species that can be distinguished conclusively using these DNA
fingerprinting methods are, 1: Pinctada radiata (Arabian/Persian Gulf &
Ceylon pearl oyster), 2: Pinctada imbricata (Atlantic pearl oyster), 3: Pinctada
fucata/martensii (Akoya pearl oyster), 4: Pinctada maxima (South Sea pearl

Pandora from recycled silver and gold
Pandora,
the world’s largest jewellery brand, announced it will entirely stop using
newly mined silver and gold in its jewellery by 2025 and only buy from recycled
sources. This will cut carbon emissions by two thirds for silver and by more
than 99% for gold.
“Silver
and gold are beautiful jewellery materials that can be recycled forever without
losing their quality. Metals mined centuries ago are just as good as new. They
will never tarnish or decay. We wish to help develop a more responsible way of
crafting affordable luxury like our jewellery, and prevent that these fine
metals end up in landfills. We want to do our part to build a more circular
economy,” said CEO Alexander Lacik.
Kookaburra portrays impression
First
issued by The Perth Mint in 1990, the Australian Kookaburra portrays a new
impression of the famous bush bird each year. With its unmistakable laughing

yard.

stylised rays of the rising sun in the background. The noticeably raised motifs
appear on a highly-polished concave surface. As well as the bird, the coin rim
and its serrated edge are decorated in 24-carat gold making this spectacular
release a first-of-a-kind for The Perth Mint.
