TAG Heuer Launches $1650 Modular Smartwatch

Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer in collaboration with Intel and Google has launched its latest Android smartwatch called the Connected Modular 45.

The Modular 45 is TAG Heuer’s second instalment in Android wearables following its ‘Connected’ smartwatch which was launched last year. The watch manufacturer has, however, taken a new approach with its latest product as the Modular 45 now comes with interchangeable parts making it a lot more versatile than its predecessor.

The ‘Connected’ module features a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen display covered in 2.5mm sapphire crystal glass and a titanium casing. Internal specs include an Intel Atom Z34XX processor, 4GB of memory, WiFi, GPS, more than 24 hours of battery life and water resistance up to 50 meters.
