Mines to Market Conference on 19th-20th March in Mumbai

Mumbai: India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has announced an international diamond conference Mines to Market which is will be held in Mumbai on 19th and 20th March, 2017.

Keynote speech will be delivered by Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry (Independent Charge) and Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble MoS (IC) for Power, Coal and Renewable Energy & Mines, Govt. of India. Russell Mehta will give an overview of Indian Diamond Industry which will be followed by presentation by international dignitaries. The first session will also have panel discussion on Survival in the Absence of Growth and will conclude with charity dinner.

Day two will commence with key note address by Commerce Secretary – Rita Teotia followed by panel discussion on Innovation in Stagflation, discussion on New Realities of Diamond Financing’ by prominent speakers, opening remarks by Martin Rapaport on State of Diamond Industry, panel discussion on diamond certification and presentation on GJEPC study on synthetic diamonds by Ashish Mehta,convener,NDMC & Bonas Group .
