We are open again from May 21

“Hopefully you are as excited about coming back to visit the stores as we will be. We’ve been missing the interaction with you all as well as each other. Why not drop by for a coffee or tea and say hello?” said Mondial,

Mondial informs that at first, our QVB boutique will be available for you to visit for a few days a week, opening for slightly shorter hours than previously, just so we can gauge what is the most appropriate timing for our clients and work colleagues alike. They inform the days/hours of remaining open.

We would like you to know that we have been and will continue to do everything possible to make visiting Mondial Pink Diamond Atelier, the warm, welcoming and Safe experience you expect and are looking forward to. We have implemented additional Covid-19 appropriate practices such as, 1: Limiting the number of people in the serving area and strict physical distancing.

2: Rigorous sanitising of all areas touched by staff and guests at frequent intervals. 4: Frequent hand washing and providing hand sanitiser before and after contact so we can all handle jewellery safely and with confidence and 5: Masks for staff and also for clients if desired.

Clear acrylic service barrier on the desk between you and our staff available upon request. Also, as usual, you are always welcome to make an appointment for a private consultation and we would be happy to see you outside the days and times mentioned above, provided it can be arranged in advance.

As always, the happiness, satisfaction and of course, health and well-being of you, our trusted customer, as well as our dear colleagues is paramount and we really hope to see you in our beautiful QVB again as soon as possible.

Mondial moved from the Ritz Carlton “Promenade” in Double Bay to “The Grand Walk” of the iconic Queen Victoria Building in 1993, where this year it celebrates a rare quarter of a century as one of the QVB’s oldest and most august tenants.

Fred has been joined in the business by his 2 children Michael and Nadia, as well as his cousin Jacob, who immigrated to Australia in 1981. Jacob has worked with Fred for over 35 years and learnt everything he knows about the business from Fred and Maria. He co-manages Mondial in the QVB with Michael. Michael studied gemmology in residence at the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and over the past 20 years in the business.
