Take the digital side in Covid-19

PGI USA wishes health, safety and security to all our platinum friends and partners during this time. As an organization, our team is working remotely until the risk of Covid-19 diminishes. With the understanding that all businesses are facing economic difficulties and uncertainties, we wanted to share a few tips to help you effectively take advantage of the digital side of your omnichannel strategies-with consumer sensitivity in mind.

Overall Communication:

While stores are closed, continue to communicate with your customers on your social, email and text channels. If you are able to fulfill orders, remind your customers that they can still shop for upcoming engagements, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and more safely at home via your ecommerce websites. Be transparent about any delays in fulfillment and deliveries.

Social Media:

Online activity has increased, as most of the public is staying home. Provide your customers with new content to consume while they’re at home, while focusing on positive messages of love, optimism and exciting days ahead. Keep in mind that many consumers may have had to cancel their special events, so exercise sensitivity when developing social media copy.

As economic hardships impact both consumers and businesses, consider offering promotions or specials to be redeemed now or in the future, including, 1: Donating a percentage of every sale to a local charity, 2: Discounted shipping on orders, 3: Free jewelry cleanings for brides and grooms whose weddings were affected

4: Engraving solutions for those forced to change their wedding dates!
