Swarovski supports 1st edition of jewellery carnival
Jewel Trendz successfully hosted the first edition of the Jewellery Carnival on Jalesh Cruise from 6th January to 9th January, 2020 in presence of Maharashtra’s top officials, bureaucrats and dignitaries of the gems and jewellery industry.
Post the success of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS), Jewel Trendz hosted the world’s first Jewellery Carnival on Cruise amidst the serene and pristine water on Jalesh Cruise from 6th January to 9th January, 2020.
The first-ever Jewellery Carnival marked its beginning with Mr. Sanjay Bhatia, Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust (MBPT), IAS addressing the Press Conference in presence of bureaucrats from Maharashtra Government, MBPT officials and notables from the gems and jewellery industry. Following the press conference the Jewellery Carnival was inaugurated in evening by Mr. Govind Verma, CMD & Director of Jewel Trendz Pvt. Ltd.
The 4-day carnival was followed by India International Jewellery Awards, Jewellery Expo, Fashion Show, Pool Deck party and many more surprises which helped the gems and jewellery industry reinvent. The Jewellery Expo took place on January 7th & January 8th, 2020 from morning 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with India’s best 65 retailers exhibiting their latest collection of the season on-board.
The expo was visited by 300 plus retailers from all-over India and abroad. Likes from Bhima Jewellers, Joyalukkas, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Swarovski etc. marked their presence at the first edition of Jewellery Carnival on Cruise.
In addition to renowned retailers the expo was visited by Mr. Rajendra Jain, Managing Director of Swarovski Gemstones India, Mr. Shantibhai Patel, President of Gems and Jewellery Trade Council of India (GJTCI), Mr. Jayantilal Challani, President of Madras Gems Jewellery & Diamonds Merchant Association (MGJDMA), and Mr. Yogesh Singhal, President of Bullion and Jewellers Association, Delhi.
India’s first of its kind – Jewellery Carnival on Cruise was a huge success as the retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and dignitaries of the industry rejoiced every moment while sailing through the Arabian Sea in luxury of cruise.
The carnival was a perfect venue to mingle and cheer with friends and dignitaries of the industry with a series of events that was followed by the expo. The Felicitation and Awards Ceremony at the carnival appreciated the efforts of the gems and jewellery industry at the testing times. It appreciated the luminaries of the industry and felicitated them with awards.
The Jewellery Fashion Show helped the manufacturers and wholesalers showcase their unique designs and collections in presence of the bigwigs of the gems and jewellery industry. The Bollywood Night with Live performance brought new energy in the crowd at the carnival as they danced and sang throughout the night.
Swarovski opens the fashion show with their glitter & glamour on the floor with stunning jewellery embellished with Swarovski Zirconia; it was Swarovski’s first fashion show on cruise, witnessed by the jewellers of India on the board.
