Mumbai: Mr. Saurabh Gadgil – Chairman & Managing Director, PNG Jewellers laid the foundation of a Ganesh temple in Ambil Odha Colony, Pune in the fond remembrance of Late Shri. Dajikaka Gadgil on the occasion of his 3rd Death anniversary.
The sanctification ceremony of the temple was organized on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Jayanti and was attended by Mr. Saurabh Gadgil, Mr. Parag Gadgil and other family members of the Gadgil clan. Members of the Colony were present to witness the ceremony. The renovated temple is now much bigger in size, it can accommodate many devotees, who earlier had to leave the vicinity and travel to various parts of the city for Ganesh darshan.
This initiative is a part of PNG Jewellers relentless commitment of giving back to the society, the love, trust and affection that they have received throughout their magnanimous journey. The brand will always dispense their contribution towards the society in ways directed by late Shri. Dajikaka Gadgil.
Shri Dajikaka Gadgil- founder PNG Jewellers in Pune, had been instrumental in taking the brand ahead. He was closely associated with a lot of philanthropic work, having awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Bombay Bullion Association for his contributions in trade and industry.
On this occasion, Mr. Saurabh Gadgil – CMD, PNG Jewellers states, “Dajikaka has always been a source of inspiration, and a role model. He strongly believed in philanthropy, we have initiated a lot of associations under his name, however this is the first time we have successfully built a temple which is called Dajikaka Gadgil Ganesh Mandir.”
