Mumbai: The GJEPC recently conducted an awareness seminar at Palanpur, Gujarat the benefits of doing organised business and adopting best practices. The meet was addressed by GJEPC officials, leaders of industry bodies, bankers, finance experts and others.
Various presentations were made to provide guidance to members regarding statutory compliances, various government schemes, the long term benefits of adopting best business practices, etc by a panel that included Jilpa Sheth , Asst. Director; GJEPC, Shri Amrut Fosi, President of Banaskantha Diamond Factory Owners Association;; CA Mulchand Khatri and CA Amrut Patel.
GJEPC also invited bankers to provide insights regarding opening of salary accounts and facilities being provided by them to support the industry and open new accounts for their workers. Representatives from Sarvodaya Co-operative Bank Ltd., Mahesana and Mercantile Bank were present. They assured the attendees of their assistance.
