Webinar on second roundscheduled on17 May
In April we launched our second round of public consultation on the Code of Practices (COP), the standard against which all RJC members must be certified. In this second round of public consultation we are proposing changes to the COP and will be holding workshops in Paris and Antwerp (April), Mumbai and Surat (June), and New York (July) to seek input from all interested parties.
If you are unable to participate in the workshops, we have good news - you will now have an opportunity to hear more about the proposed changes and share your views during a webinar session we have scheduled for Thursday, 17 May at 12:00 - 13:00 BST.
The webinar will give you an understanding of the major proposed changes to the COP, including the expansion of scope to coloured stones and silver, new requirements on detection of undisclosed synthetic diamonds, and on due diligence and ‘know your counterparty’ practices.
Spaces are limited so all RJC members, non-RJC members, stakeholders and interested parties who wish to participate in this free webinar, are required to register in advance. To reserve your place, please register by clicking on the button below.
If you are unable to join the webinar you will still have an opportunity to review the proposed changes and provide feedback online. Simply click here to review the Round 2 public consultation document and then submit your feedback to the RJC by downloading the comments form. You can email your completed comments form to consultation@responsiblejewellery.com but please ensure you do this on or before Sunday 1 July 2018 after which the comment period will closed.
