Complete Set of Proof 2018 on January 23

Sales will open for the 2018 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set on January 23, 2018, at noon Eastern Time (ET).

This year’s set—priced at $15.95—consists of five proof-finish America the Beautiful Quarters Program coins that honor Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (Michigan), Apostle Islands National Lakeshore (Wisconsin), Voyageurs National Park (Minnesota), Cumberland Island National Seashore (Georgia), and Block Island National Wildlife Refuge (Rhode Island). A Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each set.

 

The United States Mint was created by Congress in 1792 and became part of the Department of the Treasury in 1873. It is the Nation’s sole manufacturer of legal tender coinage and is responsible for producing circulating coinage for the Nation to conduct its trade and commerce. The United States Mint also produces numismatic products, including proof, uncirculated, and commemorative coins; Congressional Gold Medals; and silver and gold bullion coins.
